ATM Studios Birmingham is located in a listed Victorian building in the heart of Birmingham’s music retail and recording belt. The centre is situated within walking distance of the newly-launched Kerrang! radio, Sound Control music store and The Actress and Bishop live music venue.
The centre was started in 1998 and has since expanded to cater for over 150 music students, making it the main music training institution within the Birmingham region.
The centre has managed to develop strong links with the local music industry such as Kerrang! radio, The Actress and Bishop live music venue and many local promoters.
ATM Studios Birmingham now boasts a 24-track digital recording studio, three rehearsal rooms, a technology centre, its own dance studio as well as many multi purpose-teaching areas.
BCMG is passionate about involving and supporting people of all ages and abilities in the creation and performance of new music. We do this through a variety of innovative projects evolved from collaborations between BCMG players, composers, teachers, education organisations, young people and the wider community.

Community Whale runs a variety of youth and community group training in a range of subjects including: DJ workshops, Music Technology, Video Production, Instrument Tuition, Computer Music to name but a few.
